QUOTABLE
First-Year Head Coach Saul Phillips
- "A lot of frustrating elements to the night, obviously, for me and for the players. I think the word would be - energy. We talked a lot about coming out with a lot of energy in the conference opener. For the first five minutes, we did; but for the majority of the night, they had more than we did. That's disappointing. We've got to figure out how to fix it and fix it in a hurry."

Sophomore forward Antonio Campbell
- "They had more energy than us. They came out with a little bit of energy to start the game off. They played with more energy."

Freshman guard Ryan Taylor
- "We need to come together and play. We can't let this bring us down or anything. We can't worry about this game. We need to move on."
