ATHENS, Ohio - The Ohio University men's golf team sits in 11th place after posting team totals of 293 and 295 in the opening two rounds at the Joe Feaganes Marshall Invitational on Monday.
Sophomore Peyton White (Huntersville, N.C.) leads the Bobcats as he rests in a tie for third place after shooting a 72 and a 68 to finish two strokes under par at 140.
Freshman Grant Engel (Pittsburgh, Pa.) started his Ohio career with a 76 in round one, but was able to cut back with a 72 in the second round to end the day tied for 42nd with a score of 148.
Sophomore Ty Herriott (Brandywine, Md.) shot a 72 in round one and a 77 in round two to finish the day tied for 51st place with a score of 149.
Senior Andrew Mlynarski (St. Michaels, Md.) tallied a total score of 151 after shooting a 73 and a 78 in the first two rounds, respectively, leaving him tied for 62nd place.
Junior Brad Burgess (St. Catharines, Ontario) finished the day for the `Cats tied for 85th place after posting a 77 and 78 to finish with a score of 155.
Action will begin again tomorrow at 8 a.m. for the final 18-hole round at Guyan Golf and Country Club.
