BOWLING GREEN, Ohio - The Ohio University men's golf team opened play on Monday at the 2011 BGSU Piper Intercollegiate and sit in eighth place (629) after two rounds of play. The two-day event is being held at the 7,044-yard, par 72 Stone Ridge Golf Club.
Senior Paul Grauer (Dubin, Ohio) paced the squad in day one competition with a two-round total of 153. He is currently tied for 18th overall. Grauer opened the day with a 79 in round one, but finished strong with a two-over-par 74 in round two.
Freshman Andrew Mlynarski (St. Michaels, Md.) carded the lowest round of the day for the Bobcats as he posted a one-over-par 73 in round two.
Bowling Green leads all teams with a two-round total of 598.
The Bobcats conclude tournament play on Tuesday. Final round competition begins at 9 a.m. with a shotgun start.
