KENT, Ohio-The Kent State Golden Flashes won eight of 10 bouts Friday evening to defeat visiting Ohio 30-6 in Mid-American conference wrestling.
Kent State improved to 13-5 overall and 3-0 in the league, while the Bobcats dipped to 9-5 and 3-1 in the MAC.
The Bobcats got wins from 20th-ranked Germane Lindsey at 141 (7-3 decision) and 16th-ranked Nick Purdue at 174 (7-1 decision) for the lone Ohio victories.
Ohio hits the road again Saturday for a 7 p.m. ET dual at West Virginia.
