ATHENS, Ohio - The Ohio University field hockey team took their second game in a row with a 4-0 win over Robert Morris on Friday afternoon. Brooke Edwards, Andrea Biegalski, Jessica Jue and Cathryn Altdoerffer each scored for the Green & White.

"I think its good evidence that different people are getting into the attack," Head Coach Neil Macmillan. "We got everyone out there today, everyone playing and we got everyone involved. Players like Jessica Vaeth here at the end of the game diving and trying to put the ball in and when you have multiple people up front creating things it makes everything easier."

The Bobcats scored their only goal of the first half in the ninth minute when a breakout in the midfield area resulted in a 2v1 situation. Jue gave it off to Edwards for her second goal of the season a 1-0 Ohio lead.

Goalkeeper Courtney Seiders saw her most action in the first 35 minutes when she made four stops. At the break, Ohio held a 9-5 edge in shots a 5-3 advantage in penalty corners. Seiders would finish with her first shutout of 2010 after making five saves in the contest.

Ohio was even more aggressive in the second half when they scored three goals during a 16-minute stretch of play. With RMU goalie Stephanie Seeley out of the cage trying to make a play, the ball settled on the stick of Biegalski. The sophomore slotted home her first goal as a Bobcat in the 45th minute to make it 2-0.

In the 59th minute, Edwards intercepted a RMU clearance and found Katherine Ballard. The senior dished it off to Jue who scored her second goal of the season. Two minutes later, the Bobcats closed the scoring on Altdoerffer's first goal of the year.Once again, Seeley came out of the cage and this time, Altdoerffer blasted a shot from the top of the "D" into the roof of the goal.

Ohio out-shot Robert Morris 17-1 in the second half and held a 7-1 edge in penalty corners over the final 35 minutes.

"I think our backfield and midfield players did a fantastic job moving the ball around and keeping us in possession," Macmillan added. "That was the key and up front we did a good job, but to be able to get stops at the back and move forward from the back is something we did very well today.

The Bobcats return to action on Sunday at Richmond. The game is slated to start at noon.
