GREENSBORO, N.C.-The Ohio wrestling team competed at the Southern Scuffle on Wednesday in Greensboro and had four wrestlers still alive in their respective brackets at the conclusion of the first day of action.

Nick Purdue (3-0 at 174) and Jeremy Johnson (2-0 at 285) went undefeated and are still alive for the titles in those classes, while Germane Lindsey (3-1 at 141) and Andy Hartshorn (3-1 at 285) are still fighting their way through the wrestlebacks.

The Bobcats racked up 28 team points and are currently in 14th.

The second day of competition will be held Thursday.
