RIO VERDE, Ariz. - The Ohio University women's golf team carded a third-round total of 322 (+38) on Sunday to finish the Duramed Collegiate Invitational at Rio Verde in 19th place with a 54-hole tally of 968 (+116).
Sophomore Erin Cahill (Hilliard, Ohio) was the top Bobcat finisher on the weekend, wrapping up the tournament with a nine-over 80 on Sunday to move into a tie for 69th with a total of 240 (+27). Senior Lindsay Bergman (Blacklick, Ohio) finished in 72nd place with tally of 241 (+28) after firing a final-round 81 (+10), while sophomore Jordan Fesh (Toledo, Ohio) used a team-best 77 (+6) in the third round to tie for 78th (243, +30). Juniors Colleen Lienesch (Centerville, Ohio) and Lauren Bergman (Blacklick, Ohio) rounded out Ohio's lineup in ties for 84th and 97th, respectively, with scores of 246 (+33) and 254 (+41).
The Ohio women will return to action on March 27, when they take the course at Plantation Inn in Crystal River, Fla., for the first round of the Cincinnati Spring Invitational.
