Women's Golf in 15th at Cincinnati Spring Invitational

CRYSTAL RIVER, Fla. - The Ohio University women's golf team posted a two-round total of 653 (+77) on Friday to finish the first day of the Cincinnati Spring Invitational in 15th place.

Sophomore Erin Cahill (Hilliard, Ohio) led the Bobcats with a 36-hole score of 162 (+18) to tie for 50th place after the first day, while junior Colleen Lienesch (Centerville, Ohio) signed her card with a 164 (+20) to wrap up play on Friday in a 56th-place tie. Sophomore Jordan Fesh (Toledo, Ohio) tallied a first-day 165 (+21) to tie for 58th place, senior Lindsay Bergman (Blacklick, Ohio) tied for 60th on day one with a total of 166 (+22) and junior Lauren Bergman (Blacklick, Ohio) finished Friday in a tie for 70th with a total of 168 (+24).

Playing as an individual, junior Megan Curran (Dublin, Ohio) carded a 173 (+29) on Friday to finish the day in 81st place.

The Bobcats will conclude play at Plantation Inn with the final round of Cincinnati Spring Invitational on Saturday.
