Down by six, Ohio held Bowling Green scoreless from the 8:39 mark until the 3:30 mark when the Falcons hit a pair of free throws, going on a 7-0 run to put Ohio on top. The Falcons missed eight-straight field goals during their draught, as they didn't make a field goal until the 2:33 mark.

He moved into sixth place on Ohio's career free throws made list, passing Dave Jamerson (1985-90), as he now has 380 career makes from the charity stripe. He moved into seventh on the all-time free-throws attempted list as well with 514 career attempts, passing Bunk Adams (1958-61). He is 50 makes away from tying Geno Ford (1993-97) for fifth all time and 19 attempts from tying Sanjay Adell (1997-00) for sixth all time.
Tillman finished with a game-high 20 points and scored in double figures for the 23rd-straight game, dating back to last season. He now has 79 career double-figure games and 19 career 20-point games, including eight this year. Tillman also grabbed seven boards to lead Ohio in scoring and rebounding for the 13th and 14th times, respectively, this season.
Allen finished with 10 points, marking his seventh-career double-digit game and fifth this season. His two 3-pointers tied a career high. He also dished out a game-high six assists, to just one turnover, to lead the Bobcats in assists for the 13th time this year.
Ohio used on a 9-0 run from the 7:15 mark until the 3:16 mark to grab a three-point lead, after trailing by six.
Ohio's 24 second-half rebounds were a season high.
The Bobcats' 51 points, 13 field goals and 26.5 percent shooting were all season lows. Bowling Green's 52 points were the second-fewest by an Ohio opponent this year, while BG's 35.1 shooting percentage was also the second-worst by an Ohio opponent this year. Their eight free-throw attempts were the fewest by a Bobcat opponent this year, with the six makes tying a season low.
The loss to Bowling Green was Ohio's first at home this season and the Falcons' first road win of the year.
