Charleston, S.C. - Inclement weather has caused opening day for the Ohio baseball team to be postponed. Ohio was scheduled to take the field Friday against Charleston Southern, but bad weather conditions have pushed the game back a day and the Bobcats will now kickoff their 2008 season with a doubleheader on Saturday beginning at 11:30 a.m.
Live stats for the first two games of the series can be viewed at the Charleston Southern website by clicking here. Live video of the first two games is available for $4.95 per game through the Big South Conference.
The third game of the series, scheduled for Sunday at 1 p.m., was originally slated to be played away from the Charleston Southern campus at Collins Field, but there is now a chance that the game will be moved back on campus. If the game is played on campus live stats and video will be available for that game as well.
