No. 11 Ohio Gets Fourth Straight Win

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. -The No.11 Ohio field hockey team grabbed its fourth straight win with a 1-0 shutout victory in double overtime against conference foe Missouri State.

The Bobcats are now 9-3 on the season and undefeated in the MAC with a 3-0 record. Missouri State falls to a 1-11 overall record and a 0-2 MAC record.

Rachelle Coetzee (Bloemfontein, South Africa) scored the game-winning goal at the 90:01 mark off a feed from Torrie Albini (Escondido, Calif.). It was Coetzee's third goal in two games and her sixth goal of the season.

The `Cats out-shot the Bears 27-4 and out-cornered them 24-1. Ohio goalie Jessie Martin (Louisville, Ky.) had one save as the Bears made only four shots, including one on goal. Martin played a season-high 100 minutes.

The Bobcats will return to their home field this Friday against Central Michigan at 3 p.m.
