YPSILANTI, Mich. - The Ohio women's soccer team played for 110 minutes on Sunday afternoon against Eastern Michigan, but neither team could score its second goal of the game and the Bobcats' second road conference match-up of the 2007 season ended in a 1-1 double-overtime draw.

With the tie, Ohio moves to 4-6-3 (4-1-1 MAC) on the season, while Eastern Michigan sits at 4-5-4 (2-2-2 MAC).

Jackie Hanson (LaGrange, Ill.) scored her first collegiate goal in the 19th minute of the game when sophomore forward Amy Lower (West Chester) found the freshman for a long strike 25 yards out. With the assist, Lower has tallied points in three straight games with two goals and two assists this week.

"In the last several games we have really started to count on Jackie," head coach Stacy Strauss said. "She is very dangerous offensively and she had a great goal today."

Ohio's lead was short lived however, as Eastern Michigan midfielder Stephanie Janssens, who is ranked third in the MAC in assists, combined with Ashley Upton to find Ashley Rodriques in the 25th minute for her third goal of the season.

Both keepers played well, allowing just two goals combined. Jess MacLean (Loveland) stopped two EMU shot attempts while Eagles keeper Maggie Manville recorded nine saves.

Ohio took 15 shots in its first conference draw of the season, placing 10 on goal. Lindsey Price (West Chester) and Hansen each led the way with three shots on goal a piece. Eastern Michigan took just seven shots and placed just three on goal.

The 108 fans in attendance heard the referee's whistle quite a few times, with Ohio and Eastern Michigan getting called for 37 combined fouls. EMU's Deana Kinter was issued a yellow card in the second half.

Ohio will be back at Chessa Field next weekend for another set of MAC games. The Bobcats host Northern Illinois on Friday and welcome Western Michigan on Sunday.
