Rick Callebs

Rick Callebs was named Assistant Cheerleading Coach in February 2018.  

Callebs previously served for four years as the Head Cheerleading Coach at the University of Rio Grande in Rio Grande, Ohio. He served as a nationally certified cheerleading competition judge for Cheer Limited and was employed by the Universal Cheerleaders Association in the Camp Administration division, traveling with cheer camp instructional staff during the summer and providing medical care and logistics for the National College and High School Cheer and Dance Team Championships. Callebs maintains a current cheer coach safety certification through the American Association of Cheerleading Coaches and Administrators. 

Callebs is a graduate of the University of Rio Grande, earning his bachelor's degree in Public Administration in 2011. He is an Ohio licensed Paramedic with over 30 years of service to his community. He is married to his wife Ann-Marie and has two sons, Bryan and Jay. Bryan, a four-year member of the Marching 110, is completing his degree in Integrated Social Studies at Ohio. Jay, a high school freshman, plans on becoming a future Bobcat.
