Nathan Knepper

Nathan Knepper joined the Ohio Athletics staff in August 2025, as the Director of Sport Operations. Knepper oversees the overall operations for all sports and helps with any gameday logistics, by working with coaching staff, visiting teams/officials and any internal/external groups to help create a smooth gameday experience. 

Previously, Knepper worked at Kansas State University as an event operations assistant, serving as the primary event manager for tennis and men’s and women’s golf and as the game manager for women’s soccer, overseeing and supervising all event staff. Knepper also worked in facilities and event operations at Florida State University from 2022-2023, ensuring that facilities were ready for game day. He has experience supervising various NCAA postseason events, such as the women’s March Madness regional events, softball regionals and super regionals, and the Division I women’s soccer national championship.  

Knepper graduated from Ohio University in May 2021, with a bachelor’s in sport management and a minor in business analytics. While at Ohio, Knepper worked in the athletic department as a ticketing office assistant. Knepper also earned a Master of Sport Management from Florida State University in 2023.  

Originally from Pickerington, Ohio, Knepper now resides in Athens.
