Garrett was named Associate Athletics Director of Brand Advancement and Communications Strategy in August 2025. In her role, she oversees Ohio's brand development, digital strategy and communications departments.
With nearly a decade of experience in college athletics administration at the FBS level, she joins Ohio from Arkansas State, where she served as the Director of Donor Engagement before being promoted to Assistant Athletics Director for External Engagement and Donor Experience in 2022. In that role, she led external engagement and donor experience efforts for the Red Wolves Foundation, generating over $560,000 through signature events and strategic initiatives, and launched multiple sport-specific booster clubs that produced $70,000 in new annual contributions.
At A-State, Garrett also managed key hospitality and operations partnerships with Sodexo, Jani-King, and Andy Frain, improving processes and game-day efficiency to elevate the premium fan and donor experience.
In 2024, Garrett successfully transitioned the Red Wolves Foundation website to SIDEARM, enhancing user experience. Garrett also developed digital programming to enhance the overall game-day fan experience at A-State sporting events. In addition, Garrett reenvisioned and implemented fundraising initiatives within areas of oversight, while also streamlining processes that increased efficiency and production. She also worked closely with A-State's external staff, including marketing, communications, and branding. Â
She has also held positions at the conference level, serving as Director of Communications at the Sun Belt and Associate Director of Strategic Communications at the Mountain West.
During her stint at the Sun Belt, she helped transition the Conference’s marks and logos, creating a stronger brand identity. She also led SAAC initiatives, enhancing the overall student-athlete experience. Garrett also increased following and engagement on the League’s social platforms and implemented processes to increase collaboration and streamline communication between member institutions and the conference office.
At the MW, she served as a liaison to the NCAA, providing statistical information and details on Mountain West women’s basketball programs to aid the NCAA women’s basketball selection committee's postseason decisions. She also helped oversee the MW's brand and social media, as well as strategic processes related to championships, merchandise, and digital assets.
Garrett began her career at A-State as Assistant Director of Media Relations, where she led communications for baseball, women's soccer, and women's bowling, and enhanced A-State athletics' overall social media strategy.

A native of Jonesboro, Ark., Garrett received her bachelor's degree in strategic communications with an emphasis in social media management, public relations, and marketing in 2018. As an undergraduate, Garrett interned in media relations and with the A-State Football program, and served as the Sports Editor of The Herald, A-State's student newspaper.
