Gabe Genovesi was named the Director of Broadcasting at Ohio in September 2025.

Genovesi comes back to Ohio after five years as a Network Coordinator at Learfield in Winston-Salem, NC. At Learfield, Genovesi managed several Division I radio broadcasts. This included all audio production and sponsorship fulfillment on 10+ radio broadcasts throughout the country.

On-air, Genovesi had play-by-play duties for the SEC baseball, women’s basketball and softball tournaments for the SEC Radio Network. He also broadcasted the ACC baseball and women’s basketball tournaments nationally, and studio hosted for Mississippi State men’s basketball radio broadcasts for three years.

Genovesi is a 2019 graduate of Ohio University where he earned a bachelor’s degree from the Scripps School of Journalism. He resides in Athens with his wife, Paige, and daughter, Charlotte.
