Emily Tabeek joined Ohio Athletics in December 2022 and currently serves as the Academic Coordinator for Football. In her role, she is responsible for holding weekly meetings to collect grades and track progress, overseeing Study Hall for the team, providing weekly academic updates to coaches, while tracking course registration for football players, and ensuring NCAA eligibility and APR compliance. Emily also meets with prospective players during official visits. 

Before joining Ohio University, Emily spent six years at Southern Illinois University working in undergraduate admissions and athletics. There, she gained valuable experience collaborating with departments such as Financial Aid, the Bursar’s Office, the Registrar, Academic Advising, New Student Services, and student retention initiatives. She also completed an internship with Temple University Compliance for football and served as Chair of the Illinois Association for College Admission Counseling’s Government Relations Committee, advocating for higher education legislation with state and federal legislators. 

Emily holds a BA in Political Science from Southern Illinois University and hails from Jacksonville, Illinois.
