Cade Williamson currently serves as the assistant coordinator for athletics analytics. He also assists with baseball public address announcing in the spring, having started in 2024. Williamson previously worked as a play-by-play broadcaster and talk show personality locally for Pure Rock 105 WXTQ, covering high school athletic events in Athens County from the fall of 2021 until the spring of 2025. As a native of Newark, Ohio, he also worked as a freelance high school football reporter for the Newark Advocate in the fall of 2023 and the fall of 2024. 

Williamson earned a Bachelor of Science in Journalism from Ohio University in 2024 and is currently an MBA/MSA Dual Degree student. In his free time, Williamson enjoys walking on the bike path in Athens, listening to music, watching professional baseball and spending time with his family.
