Annika Bailey joined the Ohio Athletics department in 2005 and has served as the Academic Coordinator for NCAA Eligibility & Student-Athlete Success since October 2019. In this role, she is responsible for overseeing the academic progress of student-athletes in Baseball, Softball, Men's and Women's Cross Country, Men's and Women's Golf, Soccer, Swimming & Diving, Indoor/Outdoor Track & Field, and Field Hockey.
Annika began her career at Ohio University as a Graduate Assistant Athletic Trainer and later held positions as an Assistant Athletic Trainer, Staff Athletic Trainer, and Associate Athletic Trainer. Before joining Ohio University, she gained experience as an Intern Assistant Athletic Trainer at New Mexico State University.
She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science and Sports Medicine from California Lutheran University in 2000 and completed her Master’s degree in Recreation and Sport Sciences at Ohio University in 2007. Originally from Ingaro, Sweden, Annika also competed as a Women’s Tennis player at California Lutheran University (DIII).
