Women’s Soccer Adds Eight During Early Signing Period

ATHENS, Ohio —The Ohio women's soccer program announced the addition of eight student-athletes for the 2018-19 season, head coach Aaron Rodgers announced today (Feb. 19).

Morgan Collica (Aurora, Ohio) played soccer for the Internationals SC, Ambassadors FC and the Cleveland Women's Premiere Soccer League in Lima, Peru this January. In 2017, Morgan and her team became the State Cup Champions, Midwest Regional League Premiere Division 1 Champions, and the Disney Showcase Champions. She made honor roll at her high school. When Morgan isn't playing soccer, she enjoys competing on a summer swim team, barefoot waterskiing and other watersports.

Born April 26, 2000, Morgan is the daughter of Mike and Beth Collica. She has two older siblings, Anthony and Maria.

Taylor Dickerson (Cincinnati, Ohio) plays soccer for Kings Hammer. In Taylor's freshman season at Mt. Healthy Junior High School, she set a record of nine goals. She lettered once for soccer in high school. Taylor also lettered four times for basketball and two years for track. When she isn't playing soccer, Taylor is rooting for her favorite basketball team, the Golden State Warriors.

She is the daughter of Tiffany and Orlando Dickerson Jr. Born August 13, 2000, Taylor has one younger Brother, Lando.

Maeve Maloney (Lebanon, Ohio) plays soccer for Cincinnati Development Academy (CDA 99). In the past, she played for Cincinnati United Soccer Club (CUP 99), ODP Region 2, the Regional Holdover Soccer Team and Lebanon High School. Maeve earned her varsity letter for soccer four years in a row and was named a captain her senior year. She was named the 2017 Offensive Player of the Year, Miami Valley First Team in 2017, GWOC All-League in 2017, GWOC All-League First Team in 2016 and 2017, Athlete of the Week in 2016 and 2017 and the Dayton Daily Player of the Week in 2016 and 2017.

Born October 25, 1999, Taylor is the daughter of Matt and Diane Maloney. She has one older brother, Brian. When she isn't playing soccer, Maeve is rooting for Ohio State football, U.S. National Soccer teams, Real Madrid F.C. and the Golden State Warriors. Maeve volunteered for a children's soccer camp, local food banks and a leader at Vacation Bible School at the Countryside Community Church.

Haley Miller (Cincinnati, Ohio) plays varsity soccer at Oak Hills High School. She also played for Total Futbol Academy, Fairfield Optimist Soccer Club and Kings Hammer. Haley earned three varsity letters, made First Team GMC and Second Team All-State in 2017. Her high school team was the GMC champion in both 2016 and 2017. When she isn't playing soccer, Haley enjoys listening to music, photography and exercising. Her favorite teams are F.C. Barcelona and the U.S. Women's National Team.

Haley is the daughter of Jeffery and Melody Miller. Born August 14, 2000, she has two sisters, Ashley and Stephanie.

Olivia Sensky (Powell, Ohio) currently plays soccer for Ohio Premier. She played for the Classics Eagles from 2005-2017 and played four years of varsity soccer at Olentangy Liberty High School. Olivia is the captain of her Ohio Premier team and was named the captain of her high school team both her junior and senior years. In 2017, she made the Super 12 First Team, First Team All OCC Buckeye Division Honors, First Team All-District Honors, OSSCA All Ohio Honors Second Team and was named the Varsity MVP. Haley was an Athlete of the Year finalist. Olivia was named Athlete of the Week in 2016 and made Second Team All OCC Buckeye Division Honors in both 2015 and 2016. Olivia is a member of the National Honors Society.

Born October 24, 1999, she is the daughter of Kory and Elizabeth Sensky. Olivia has one younger brother, Luke. She enjoys spending time with her friends and family and rooting for a variety of Columbus and Pittsburgh based teams. Olivia has a blackbelt in Tae Kwon Do.  

Abby Townsend (Powell, Ohio) plays soccer for the Classics Eagles. She played all four years at Olentangy Liberty High School, earning her varsity letter three times. Abby was named captain for the Classics Eagles two years in a row. The team was named First Team All-Conference 2016 and 2017, First Team All-District in 2016 and 2017 and Second Team All-State in 2016. Abby set a school record for the most goals scored in a single season, 21. 

She is the daughter of Wendi Senhauser and Jim Townsend and has two older sisters, Sydney and Katie. In her spare time, she enjoys playing soccer, working out, spending time with her friends and rooting for The Ohio State Buckeyes.

Lindsey Towsend (New Albany, Ohio) plays soccer for Ohio Premier. She earned two varsity letters at New Albany High School. The team was named All OCC First Team and All District in 2016 and 2017. Lindsey was named Best Offensive Player in 2017. Her club team was the ODP State Team in 2013. When she isn't playing soccer, she enjoys traveling and exploring new cities, baking and listening to music with her friends. Her favorite athlete is Julie Ertz and she roots for Manchester United, F.C. Barcelona and the Dallas Cowboys.

Born on August 19, 1999, Abby is the daughter of John and Kendra Townsend. She has one older sister, Amber.

Sam Wexell (Irwin, Penns.) plays soccer for the Pittsburgh Riverhounds Academy and was named captain from 2016-2018. She lettered all four years at Norwin High School and was named captain her senior year. She earned Norwin High School's Career Shutout Record with 53 total shutouts. She was awarded All-Section, All-WPIAL and All-Conference in 2017 and 2018 as well as All-State in 2018.

Born on November 11, 1999, Abby is the daughter of Jim and Lydia Wexell. She is interested in journalism, photography and the Special Olympics.
