2020-21: Competed in four matches at 157 and 165 pounds… Academic All-MAC.

2018-19: Wrestled to a 22-12 record with 10 decisions, five major decisions and seven falls ... His fastest fall came in 0:28 ... Finished fifth in the Appalachian State Open, second at the Edinboro Open and pinned Owen Balas for first place at the JCU Open.
2017-18: Posted a 10-11 overall record ... Saw action in individual tournaments and dual meets ... Placed fifth in the Hokie Open Freshmen/Sophomore division and strung together four consecutive wins in route to a second-place finish in the Storm Open. 
2016-17: Vestal finished the 2016-17 season with a 27-10 overall record. He recorded seven falls, two technical falls, and five major decisions. Vestal placed third at the Greyhound Open, Appalachian State Open and Purple Raider Open and second at the Ohio Intercollegiate Open.
High School: Accumulated a record of 220-27… Was a four-time state qualifier and a three-time state finalist… Also ran track.

Personal: Son of Pattie and John… Has one older brother, Chris (23), two younger brothers, Sam (16) and Michael (14), and an older sister Alex (21)… Favorite athlete is Bo Jackson… Favorite sports team is the San Diego Chargers.
