2023-24: Posted a 7-3 record on the season at 197-pounds... Had one win by fall.

Prior to Ohio: At Yorkville, Janeczko earned two varsity letters for football and four for wrestling. A two-year captain of his wrestling team, Janezcko led his team to a fourth-place finish in the Illinois state tournament. Over his wrestling career, Janeczko tallied 110 wins and numerous accolades. These included a fourth-place finish in the state tournament, four-time all-conference nominee, and three-time state tournament qualifier.  

Personal: Son of Becky and Randy Janeczko... Has two younger brothers: Ryder and Brock... Likes to fish and weightlift in his free time... Uncles Chris, Brad, and Tom Perry were wrestlers at Eastern Illinois, Clemson, and Missouri... Favorite athlete is Sean Strickland... Favorite teams are the Chicago White Sox and Bears... Will major in biology on the pre-med track with the goal of working professionally in the medical field.
