2024: Played in 47 games with 41 starts… Finished with a .319 batting average on 45 hits with two home runs and three triples… Scored 23 runs, recorded 11 RBI and drew six walks… Season high four hits and three RBI against Georgetown (Feb. 23)… Named to 2024 Academic All-District Softball Team…  Earned Academic All-MAC Honors. 

2023: Made 47 appearances with 41 starts… Finished with a .321 batting average with 35 hits… Scored 16 runs, recorded eight RBI and drew eight walks… Recorded two RBI against Dayton on March 2…  Named to the 2023 Academic All-District Team… Named Second Team All-MAC.  

2022: Played in 23 games while making 11 starts, primarily at second base and as a pinch runner…Hit .185 with five hits in 27 at bats…Scored 12 runs, recorded two RBI and drew three walks…Went 3-of-3 in stolen bases…Recorded a double against Creighton on Feb. 19.

2021: Played in 29 games with 10 starts for the Bobcats… Batted .138 with four hits and 13 runs… Recorded two hits and stole two bases against Ball State (Apr. 23).

Prior to Ohio: Played softball for William Mason High School as well as Ohio Hawks Fastpitch Gold....During the 2019 season, O'Brien had a batting average of .512 in 94 at bats...In the 2018 season, O'Brien broke the Mason High School season stolen base record with 31 stolen bases on the year...Led the Comets to three district championships throughout the 2017 to 2019 seasons...In 2019, she became the Mason High School single season hits leader with 131 hits on the season, and was named to the Southwest Ohio All-District Team and was nominated to the All-Ohio Team. 

Personal: Is the daughter of Tim and Barb O'Brien and has one older brother, Drew who played college baseball at Ohio Dominican University for two seasons...Plans on studying marketing.
