2022: Rigg appeared in six games during the 2022 campaign. She scored her two goals this season in the Bobcats' 11-0 win over VMI. 

2021: Played in the Eastern Kentucky game for the Bobcats on September 5th, totaling 7 minutes. 

2020*: Played in three games for the Bobcats… Made first career appearance on March 21 at Buffalo and recorded one shot.

Prior to Ohio: Played four years for Clay High School under head coaches Duck Hess and Megan Soncrant…Was a four-year starter where she scored 45 career goals, 23 assists and was the leading scorer her junior and senior seasons and was the second-leading scorer her freshman and sophomore year…Earned All-Conference Honors four straight years (1^stteam junior and senior year, second team freshman and sophomore year)…Earned First Team All-District (2018 and 19)…Helped her team to two TRAC championships in 2017 and 2018…District Champions in 2019 for the first time in school history…Played Club soccer for Pacesetter Soccer Club, Metro Soccer Club and GTFC for Alexis Smith, Rhonda Smith, Jimmy Walker and Danny Fisher…Graduated Summa cum lade. 

Personal: Payton is the daughter of Andrea and Joseph Rigg and has one brother, Nicholas…Favorite team is the USWNT…Enjoys trying to new things like food, games and activities…Also enjoys snowboarding, tubing/wakeboarding, traveling, camping, hiking and spending time with her family…Plans to work in a setting with children.
