A familiar face in the Peden equipment room, Caleb Moon was named the Director of Equipment Services in 2025 after serving as the Assistant Director of Equipment since September 2022. In his current role, he assists with all operations out of the Peden equipment room, working directly with football and field hockey. Prior to his appointment, Moon reprised his internship position with Ohio Football in spring 2022, assisting the equipment room during Spring Camp.
 
From May 2021 – January 2022, Moon was an intern for Cleveland Browns, working out of their equipment room. Prior to Cleveland, Moon completed his third tour of Athens, serving as a full-season intern in the equipment room from February 2020 – May 2021. Moon spent the 2019 and 2020 summers in Phoenix, Ariz., working as a training camp intern in the Arizona Cardinals equipment room.
 
Moon’s journey with Ohio University started in 2017 as a student manager for the football program. In 2018, he was named head student manager.
 
Hailing from the Plains, Moon is an Athens high school graduate and has an associates degree from Hocking College. Currently, he is pursuing his bachelor’s degree from Ohio.
 
Moon currently lives in West Virginia with his wife, Halley, and their corgis, Loki and Louie.
