Assistant coach Louisa Boddy joined head coach Ali Johnstone’s staff ahead of the 2018-19 season. Since then, she has coached two MAC Offensive Players of the Year, Kendall Ballard and Katelyn Whittle. 

In 2024, she coached First Team All-MAC nominee Anouk Plaehn, who had the second-most game-winning goals in the MAC, as well as Second-Team nominee Bodhi Littlefield and All-Freshman member Marie De Grande. 
 
Prior to joining the Bobcats, Boddy belonged to the Durham University Hockey Club coaching staff before becoming a player coach for the Belper Ladies Hockey Club in Belper, England for the 2016-17 season. In 2017-18, Boddy held the head coach title for the Belper Ladies Hockey Club, recording a 9-1 record at the mid-season break.

A 2012 Big East Tournament Most Outstanding Player and NFHCA All-American selection, Boddy led the UConn Huskies with 16 goals and finished second on the squad with 39 points. She also tied for the team lead with six game-winning goals and was honored as a First Team All-BIG EAST selection in her single year at UConn as a graduate student where she also earned her master's in sport management.  

Prior to Boddy's stint at UConn, the Derbyshire, England native recorded four years as a student-athlete at Durham University in Durham, England where she helped the squad to become 2012 National Champions and 2010 National Championship Runners Up. During her undergraduate career, Boddy was also named 2009 Player of the League and was a three-time Conference All-Star team selection in the National Conference North. Before leaving Durham, Boddy was named Team MVP in 2012.

Over the course of her career, Boddy has been a part of 21 titles at the school, county, club, regional and national levels.
