2019: Played in all 21 games for Ohio, while making seven starts…Played in all 11 MAC games for the Bobcats, starting six of them…Scored five goals and recorded four assists for 14 points...Registered 25 shots with 14 of them on goal for a .560 shots on goal percentage…Recorded one game-winning goal…Scored her first career goal on Aug. 30 against Cleveland State…Recorded a three-point game on Sept. 8 against Southern Illinois where she scored one goal and had one assist…had another three-point game on Sept. 27 at NIU and again on Oct. 4 against Toledo, once again scored one goal with one assist…Named to the MAC All-Freshman Team.
Prior to Ohio: Maddie played for the Total Futbol Academy from 2008-15, the Kings Hammer Academy from 2015-16 and is currently playing for the Cincinnati Development Academy. While at Saint Ursula, she played soccer all four years, earning her varsity letter three times. Maddie was named First Team GGCL, First Team All-Star and First Team All-City in 2016 and Second Team GGCL and Second Team All-City in 2017 and 2018. In 2016, she was the GGCL leading scorer. In her career, Maddie scored 36 goals and 10 assists, with 10 goals in 2017 and eight goals in 2018.
Personal: Maddie was born on May 16, 2001 in Cincinnati, Ohio to Anne Young. She has one older sister, Mackenzie. She attended Saint Ursula Academy, where she made honor roll all four years, was named Saint Ursula Scholar Athlete, Academic All Southwest and was a member of the National Honor Society. In her spare time, Maddie enjoys exercising, cooking, hanging out with friends and family, going camping and exploring and going to music festivals in the summer. Her favorite athlete is Abby Wambach and her favorite teams are USA Women's Soccer Team and F.C. Cincinnati.
