2020-21: Competed in 14 matches at 133 pounds… Finished with a 9-5 record… Placed third at MAC Championships and earned 15.5 team points… Qualified for NCAA National Championships and won first match by sudden victory.
2019-20: Recorded a 6-4 record … Placed fifth at the Michigan State Open.
2018-19: Had career highs in wins, majors, and falls and qualified for the NCAA Championships for the first time ... Wrestled to a 17-5 record, 7-1 in duals and undefeated in conference duals (5-0), 10 decisions, four majors, one technical fall and two falls ... Took first at the Michigan State Open, defeating Michigan State’s Anthony Tutolo (9-7) in the finals ... Also won the Edinboro Open, posting three bonus point victories out of his four matches of the day ... In the MAC Championships, placed fourth and was awarded an at-large bid into the NCAA Championship.
2017-18: Recorded a 10-6 record ... Placed 3rd in the Bearcat Open ... Went 5-2 overall and 2-2 in conference in dual meets ... Longest winning streak was three starting on Feb. 17 and ending on March 3 recorded one technical fall and three majors.
2016-17: Finished the 2016-17 season with a 12-4 overall record. Finished in first-place at the Storm Open, finishing 4-0. Finishing fourth in the Eastern Michigan Open, Guillen defeated previous MAC Champion, Austin Eicher.
Prior to Ohio: Accumulated 163 wins in his high school career, a career record for Perrysburg… Was a four-time Pitt Champ and a two-time Brecksville Champ… Won the sectional champion all four years and was a two-time district champion… Was the State Champion during his senior season.
