Ohio Men’s Basketball to Play in 2026 Scout Jacksonville Classic

ATHENS, Ohio – The Ohio men's basketball team has been announced as a member of the field at the Fifth Annual Scout Jacksonville Classic. One of the nation's premier early-season college basketball tournaments will take place November 22–25, 2026, at Florida State College in Jacksonville.
This year's event will feature a tremendous field of seven Division I programs, with each program playing between one to three games and bringing high-level competition and fantastic early season matchups.
The field consists of multiple postseason participants from 2026.
The 2026 Scout Jacksonville Classic field includes:
• UIC (Missouri Valley Conference)
• Lamar (Southland)
• Miami (OH) (MAC)
• New Mexico State (Conference USA)
• Ohio (MAC)
• Rice (American)
• Robert Morris (Horizon)
The Scout Jacksonville Classic has quickly established itself as a staple of the college basketball calendar, delivering competitive matchups, national exposure, and a boost to the local community. With programs from across the country converging in Jacksonville. Fans can expect three days of high-energy basketball and memorable moments.
