ATHENS, Ohio— The Ohio football program is set to take on the Kent State Golden Flashes at 3:30 p.m. ET on ESPN+ on Saturday, Oct. 3. Â

The matchup can also be heard on the Ohio Sports Network from Learfield, presented by Holzer Health System, with Marty Bannister and Rob Cornelius on the call.

The Bobcats have faced the Golden Flashes 76 times, posting a 47-27-2 series record since 1936. The teams last met on Nov. 6, 2024; Ohio opened "midweek MACtion" with a bang, clinching bowl eligibility with a 41-0 shutout. The Bobcats' special teams unit was responsible for multiple touchdowns for the first time since 2008, scoring twice.

Ohio returns to action this Saturday, Sept. 26, when it hosts the Stonehill Skyhawks for Family Weekend. Kickoff is set for 3:30 p.m. ET and can be seen on ESPN+. Fans are encouraged to wear white.Â
