The John Hauser Coaches' Show Returns Monday, August 31

Athens, Ohio - The John Hauser Coaches' Show will make its 2026 season debut Monday, Aug. 31, and the one-hour program will air an additional 10Â times over the course of the Bobcats' upcoming football season.
The show can be heard live on "The Varsity Sports Network"Â from 6:00-7:00 p.m. Following the first show on Aug. 31, the program returns on Sept. 8, Sept. 14, Sept. 21, Sept. 28, Oct. 5, Oct. 12, Oct. 19, Nov. 5, Nov. 12, and concludes on Nov. 19.
The first weekly radio program will be conducted at The Gem Sports Bar, located at 700 E State St in Athens then rotate venues throughout the season. Fans are encouraged to take advantage of the opportunity to hear from the OHIO head football coach and special guests from the OHIO Athletics department while enjoying the great food and atmosphere provided. Audience members will have a chance to win door prizes from Ohio Sports Properties. OHIO Football play-by-play commentator Marty Bannister, will host the program.
The Bobcats are coming off their seventh straight bowl win, back-to-back undefeated seasons at home, and earning their 40th win in four years.
OHIO will kick off its 2026 season on the road vs. Nebraska on Sept. 5, inside Memorial Stadium in Lincoln, Neb. Kickoff is set for noon and will air on FS1. The Bobcats return to Athens for their home opener vs. Jacksonville State on Sept. 12 at 6:00 p.m., both season and single-game tickets are available by calling the OHIO Athletics Ticket Office at 740-593-1300 or by visiting OhioBobcats.com/Tickets.
