TORONTO— Ohio football alumnus Pierre Kemeni Jr. was drafted by the BC Lions as the 36th overall pick in the 2026 Canadian Football League Draft (April 28).  

Kemeni (Milton, Ontario, Canada) appeared in 12 games for the Bobcats in 2025, recording five total tackles and one solo stop. The 2025 season marked his second stint in Athens; Kemeni played for the Bobcats from 2020-2, amassing 11 tackles in nine games in 2021. Kemeni also made stops at Texas State (2022), Garden City Community College (2023) and New Mexico (2024).
