ATHENS, Ohio — The Mid-American Conference announced seeding for the 2026 Men's and Women's Basketball Tournaments, presented by Credit Union 1. Ohio men's basketball (15-16, 9-9) earned the No. 6 seed, and Ohio women's basketball (17-12, 11-7) secured the No. 5 seed.
The women's team will open tournament action against No. 4 Central Michigan (18-11, 12-6) in the quarterfinals on Wednesday, March 11, at approximately 1:30 p.m. (30 minutes after the conclusion of previous game). Fans may purchase tickets to the women's contests directly through Rocket Arena.

The men's team will face No. 3 Kent State (23-8, 14-4) in the quarterfinals on Thursday, March 12, at approximately 6:30 p.m. (30 minutes after the conclusion of previous game). Tickets for men's games, located within the Ohio seating block, are available through the Ohio Athletics Ticket Office for $42, including fees. Seating locations will depend on Ohio Bobcat Club priority points. Tickets must be purchased for each round. Tickets for the quarterfinals do not carry over to the semifinals or championship and are invalid for future rounds if Ohio advances. You can view the full men's bracket here.
The priority points deadline for men's basketball quarterfinals tickets is Tuesday, March 10, at 2:00 p.m. Details for subsequent rounds will be shared via email once game times are set. Semifinal and championship ticket orders are processed only after Ohio clinches a spot in these rounds.

Ohio Bobcat Club & Ohio University Alumni Association Receptions:
The Ohio Bobcat Club and the Ohio University Alumni Association will co-host pregame receptions at The Clevelander Bar & Grill (834 Huron Road East, Cleveland, Ohio) prior to all Ohio men's and women's basketball games at the 2026 MAC Tournament. Pending advancement, receptions will begin two hours prior to tipoff and conclude 30 minutes before game time.
Reception tickets are $10 and can be purchased by clicking here. Appetizers and a cash bar will be provided, and the events are open to the public.
