Casadie DiBetta finish their first day of competition at the 2026 NCAA Swimming and Diving Championships, hosted by Georgia Tech, in Atlanta, Georgia.
In Thursday's 200-yard freestyle, Szoke (Serbia, Becej) finished fifth in her preliminary heat, finishing 37
th overall with a time of 1:46.03.
In the 100-yard breaststroke, DiBetta (St. Clairsville, Ohio) finished her preliminary heat in eighth place and finished 43
rd overall with a time of 1:00.67.
Both Szoke and DiBetta are back in action on Friday, March 20, for their second day of competition. DiBetta will kick things off Friday morning with the 200-yard breaststroke, and Szoke will swim shortly after in the 50-yard freestyle. Prelims are set for 10 a.m. ET with finals at 6 p.m. ET. Only the top eight finishers in each event will swim in the final round. Both sessions can be seen on ESPN+.
