ATHENS, Ohio— The latest Division 1 weight class rankings were released on Tuesday (Jan. 6), where four Bobcats are recognized among the best in the country at their weight class.
The Bobcats defeated Bloomsburg 37-3 on Friday night (Jan. 2), where redshirt senior
Garrett Thompson (Murrysville, Pa.) made his season debut with a dominant 15-0 technical fall win at 174 lbs.
At 157 lbs, redshirt junior
Derek Raike (Point Pleasant, W. Va.) continued a strong season with a 11-2 major decision victory, improving him to 11-3 on the season.
Redshirt senior
Sal Perrine (Northfield, Ohio) had another dominant performance at 184 lbs, winning by 194 technical fall, to improve his season record to 8-3 (5-0 in duals).

Zayne Lehman (Akron, Ohio) delivered another win at 197 lbs. by 11-0 major decision, improving his season record to 7-2 (5-0 in duals).

- 197 lbs. – 26th/26th/25th: Redshirt senior Zayne Lehman (Akron, Ohio)
The Bobcats will return to action at the NWCA National Duals in Cedar Rapids, Iowa Friday, Jan 9 to Saturday, Jan 10. Competition will start at 11 a.m. Friday and will be streaming on FloWrestling (subscription required).
