Ohio Wrestling Announces 2025-26 Season Schedule

ATHENS, Ohio — Ohio Wrestling has released its schedule for the 2025-26 season, head coach Joel Greenlee announced today (Sept. 8). This year's schedule includes five home dates, including Big Ten opponent, Wisconsin.Â

Before the regular season gets underway, the Bobcats will host its Green and White scrimmage on Oct. 25 and a location to be announced. Â
Â
Ohio will begin the regular season on Nov. 2 with a trip to Salem, Va. to take part in the Southeast Open, with action starting at 9:00 a.m. ET.

Ohio returns home to open their home schedule hosting the Ohio Showcase, set for Nov. 8 at 5p.m. ET at the Convocation Center.Â

The following week, the Bobcats will host Big Ten opponent Wisconsin on Saturday, Nov. 15 at 7 p.m. ET inside the Convo.Â

The Bobcats hit the road again to close out the month of November, traveling to Boone, N.C. to wrestle in the App State Invitational.Â

The Bobcats begin December with a trip to Las Vegas to take part in the Cliff Keen Invitational. The two-day event will take place on Friday, Dec. 5 and Saturday, Dec. 6, with start times at 12 p.m. ET and 1a.m. ET respectively.

Ohio closes out 2025 with a trip to North Carolina to take on Davidson in a dual meet on Friday, Dec. 20, and Gardner-Webb on Saturday, Dec. 21. Both meets will start at 1 p.m. ET.

The Bobcats return home to the Convocation Center to begin 2026, hosting Bloomsburg to open conference competition on Friday, Jan. 2 at 7:00 p.m. ET.

Ohio will then travel to Cedar Rapids, Iowa to take part in the Mid Major National Duals, a two-day meet on Friday, Jan. 9 and Saturday, Jan 10. Competition will start at 10 a.m.ET and 11 a.m. ET respectively.

The Bobcats will return from Iowa to resume conference competition when they host SIUE for a dual meet on Friday, Jan. 16 at 7 p.m. ET inside the Convo. Ohio will hit the road again the next week for a dual meet against Northern Illinois for the final time as a MAC opponent on Friday, Jan. 23 at 7 p.m. ET.Â

The Bobcats will close out January with a trip to Central Michigan to face the Chippewas in a dual meet on Friday Jan. 30 at 7 p.m. ET.Â

Ohio will open the month of February on the road at Kent State for the 'Grudge Match' on Friday, Feb. 6 at 7 p.m. ET. The Bobcats will then travel to Clairon, Pa. to face Clarion on Sunday, Feb. 15 at 2 p.m. ET.

The Bobcats will return home to close out the regular season on Saturday, Feb. 21 when they host Buffalo for a dual meet at 7 p.m. ET inside the Convo.Â

The 2026 NCAA Wrestling Championships are set for March 19-21 in Cleveland, Ohio at Rocket Arena. This year's event will be hosted by the Mid-American Conference.Â

The Bobcats return 2025 MAC Champion and NCAA qualifier Garrett Thompson and well as MAC semifinalist Sal Perrine, who returns after missing 2024-25.Â
