ATHENS, Ohio – Five members of the Ohio women's track & field and cross country teams have been selected to the 2024-25 Academic All-District Track & Field/Cross Country Team, selected by the College Sports Communicators (CSC). The five honorees include junior
Leila Boussedra (Worthington, Ohio), sophomore
Emilee Baumann (Powell, Ohio), sophomore
Ellie Greenwell (Park Hills, Ky.), senior
Kelsi Harris (Liberty Township, Ohio) and senior
Millie Ryan (Vincent, Ohio).
The CSC Academic All-District Teams recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined athletic and academic performances. Eligible student-athletes must have at least a 3,50 cumulative grade point average. Specific athletic eligibility requirements for track & field and cross country athletes are based off TFRRS performance list ranking at the time of nominations. Only individual top performances are to be used, but athletes may use relay event rankings if criteria for individual performance is met. For NCAA institutions, athletes with a top 50 regional ranking throughout the cross country, indoor and outdoor track & field season are deemed eligible
Emilee Baumann (Track & Field): Baumann is working toward a degree in Nursing and currently has a GPA of 3.645. During the indoor season, the sophomore ranked 32
nd in the pole vault in the Great Lakes Region. During the outdoor season, Baumann ranked 27
th in the pole vault in the Great Lakes Region.
Leila Boussedra (Track & Field/Cross Country): Boussedra is working toward a degree in Environmental & Plant Biology and currently has a GPA of 3.517. She placed 26
th in the 6k at the 2024 NCAA DI Cross Country Great Lakes Regional Championship with a PR of 20:16.7. During the indoor season, Boussedra ranked 12
th in the 5,000 meters and 27
th in the 3,000 meters in the Great Lakes Region. During the outdoor season, Boussedra ranked 32
nd in the 10,000 meters and 36
th in the 5,000 meters in the Great Lakes Region.
Ellie Greenwell (Track & Field): Greenwell is working toward a degree in Exercise Physiology (Pre Physical Therapy) and currently has a GPA of 3.872. During the indoor season, the sophomore ranked 22
nd in the 800m and 42
nd in the mile in the Great Lakes Region. During the outdoor season, Greenwell ranked 29
th in the 800m and 42
nd in the 1500m in the Great Lakes Region.
Kelsi Harris (Track & Field/Cross Country): Harris graduated with her bachelor's degree in Psychology and achieved an undergraduate GPA of 3.735. She placed 34
th in the 6k at the 2024 NCAA DI Cross Country Great Lakes Regional Championships with a time of 20:29.3. During the indoor season, Harris ranked 19
th in the 5,000 meters and 22
nd in the 3,000 meters in the Great Lakes Region.
Millie Ryan (Track & Field): Ryan graduated with her bachelor's degree in Middle Child Language Arts/Math and achieved an undergraduate GPA of 3.791. During the outdoor season, Ryan ranked 39
th in the discus and 46
th in the shot put in the Great Lakes Region.
