
Smith Places Fifth in Heptathlon on Final Day of Jim Freeman/Clark Wood Invite

LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The Ohio women's track & field team concluded competition at the Jim Freeman/Clark Wood Invitational on Sunday, April 27.
The final day of competition consisted of the final three events of the heptathlon. Sophomore Gracie Smith (Grove City, Ohio) placed fifth with a personal-best score of 4,236 points. Smith also recorded a career-best mark of 31.10 meters (102-0) in the javelin.
The Bobcats will be back in action at the Jesse Owens Classic on Friday, May 2.
