ATHENS, Ohio – Ohio Athletics has announced its promotional schedule for the 2025-26 men's basketball season. 

The Bobcats will play 16 games in the Convocation Center this season in the quest for a MAC Championship.

Ohio kicks off the 2025-26 season at home hosting Arkansas State as part of the SBC-MAC Challenge. Students will be able to get a limited-edition Caricature Rufus shirt while supplies last.

The Bobcats continue at home on November 6 against Illinois State to Green Out the Convo. Fans will be able to pick up their 2025-26 schedule magnets presented by Integrated Services.

Ohio will have their annual Lung Cancer Awareness Game on November 19 against Bethune-Cookman. Fans will also be able to pick up their 2025-26 schedule posters for the first time.

The holiday celebrations begin on December 6 as we turn the convo into a Winter Wonderland! We'll have a donation bin for new or gently used toys for families in need. All donations will be given to the Athens County Sheriff's Office. Santa will be in attendance for kids to visit with him in the Kids Zone.

The holiday festivities continue December 20 for our MAC Opener against Bowling Green. Wear your ugliest holiday sweater, and the first 150 fans will get a Bobcats Santa Hat. 

On December 22, its Athen's Give Back and Camper Reunion Day. Those who bring three or more canned food items will receive free admission. Also, anyone who attended a Men's Basketball camp this past summer will get in free if they wear their camp shirt. 

On January 20, we welcome back the best students in the MAC and see which class is the best. Freshman, Sophomores, Juniors and Seniors will be assigned a color to wear, and on-court contests will determine which class is the best. Students will receive color assignments via email leading up to the game. 

On January 23, it's time to Green and White out the convo against Akron. Students should wear white and will receive a free shirt courtesy of Prokos Rental. Everyone else is encouraged to wear green.

On February 3 it's our annual Coaches vs Cancer game, as well as Fraternity and Sorority night. Fraternities and Sororities are invited to help pack the Convo, be loud and wear your letters. The Fraternity or Sorority with the highest attendance by percentage will get pizza delivered to their next chapter meeting by Head Coach Jeff Boals and members of the men's basketball team.

Its Jersey night on February 17 against Ball State, fans are encouraged to wear their favorite jersey, and the first 300 students will receive a replica jersey.

It's a White Out and senior day on February 28 against Toledo. Everyone is encouraged to wear white and arrive early as we celebrate our seniors. The first 300 students will get an orange slice convo logo shirt.

On March 6 for the final game of the season, it's a Green Out for the 'Battle of the Bricks'. The first 300 students will get a light-up rally towel.
