CLEVELAND – The Mid-American Conference announced its national basketball television schedule for the 2025-26 season today (Oct. 23). The extensive package features coverage of MAC basketball contests that will be televised nationally on the following linear platforms -- ESPN2, ESPNU & CBS Sports Network (CBSSN). Currently, three Ohio men's basketball games have been picked up by national television (Jan. 6 vs UMass, Jan. 16 at Ball State, Jan. 23 vs Akron). 

The MAC Men's Basketball Tournament Quarterfinals will be available on ESPN+, the leading direct-to-consumer sports streaming service. 

For the 10th-consecutive year, the MAC Men's Basketball Semifinals will be nationally televised on CBS Sports Network. The Men's Basketball Championship game will air on ESPN2. 

In addition, all 13 MAC institutions will be participating in the league's school content production program with ESPN. Each institution will provide a minimum of 35 athletic events as part of the agreement. Those games will appear exclusively ESPN+.

All games aired on an ESPN network will also be available through the ESPN App, computers, smartphones, tablets and streaming devices to fans who receive their high-speed Internet connection or video subscription from an affiliated service provider.

The Ohio men's basketball team was selected to finish fourth in the 2025-26 MAC Preseason Poll, while senior guard Jackson Paveletzke (Kimberly, Wis.) and redshirt junior forward Javan Simmons (Columbus, Ohio) all earned spots on the Preseason All-MAC Teams. 

Ohio opens the 2025-26 season on Monday, Nov. 3 when the Bobcats host Arkansas State in the MAC-SBC Challenge. Tip-off is set for 7 p.m. ET inside the Convocation Center and can be seen on ESPN+. Season Tickets and Mini Plans are available here.
