ATHENS, Ohio— The Ohio football program is set to host rival Miami (Ohio) at 7 p.m. on ESPN2 on Tuesday, Nov. 4. This marks Ohio's first "midweek MACtion" game of the season and the first of two Tuesday games in Athens.
The matchup can also be heard on the Ohio Sports Network from Learfield, presented by Holzer Health System, with Marty Bannister and Rob Cornelius on the call.
Meeting twice in 2024, the Bobcats and the RedHawks have posted a series record of 43-56-2 since their first face-off in 1908. Ohio fell short in the 100
th Battle of the Bricks (Oct. 19) but bounced back to make history in Detroit as the two teams met in a conference championship for the first time. Ohio's 38-3 victory not only marked the program's first MAC Championship since 1968 but the largest margin of victory in a MAC Championship as well as the first time a team has been held to no touchdowns in a Championship game.
Ohio returns to action this Saturday, Oct. 18, celebrating both Homecoming and Senior Day when it takes on the Northern Illinois Huskies for the last time as a conference opponent. Kickoff is set for 3:30 p.m. ET at Frank Solich Field at Peden Stadium and can be seen on ESPN+.
