ATHENS, Ohio – The Ohio swim and dive team has announced its schedule for the 2024-25 season, head coach Mason Norman announced today (July 25).
The Bobcats being the preseason on Saturday, Oct. 5 with the annual Green and White Meet inside the Ohio University Aquatic Center. The Bobcats begin the regular season on Friday, Oct. 11 when Ohio plays host to Toledo at 2 p.m. inside the Aquatic Center.
Ohio then hits the road Oct. 18-19 when they head to Normal, Ill. to take on Illinois State in a dual meet. After a few weeks off, Ohio is back in action on Saturday, Nov. 9 when they head to Oxford, Ohio for a MAC meet with Miami.
To close out 2024, Ohio heads to Lynchburg, Va. for the 2024 TYR '85 Invite hosted by Liberty Nov. 22-24, before heading to the 2024 Toyota U.S. Open in Greensboro, N.C. Dec. 4-7 for the final meet of the year.
Ohio opens 2025 Jan. 9-11 at the 2025 UB Diving Invite on the campus of Buffalo. The full team is back in action Jan. 25 when they head to Huntington, W. Va. to take on Marshall on the road.
Ohio returns to Athens for the final time this season on Saturday, Feb. 1 when they take on Eastern Michigan in a dual meet at the Aquatic Center. The meet will serve as Ohio's Senior Day.
Ohio's final tune-up before MACs will take place Feb. 14-16 at the Ohio State Winter Invite in Columbus, Ohio.
The 2025 MAC Championships will take place Feb. 26-March 1 in Buffalo, N.Y. on the campus of Buffalo.
The 2025 CSCAA National Invitational is back in Ocala, Fla. March 12-15.
The 2025 Zone C Diving Championships will take place March 13-15, while the 2025 NCAA Swimming and Diving Championships is scheduled for May 19-22 in Federal Way, Wash.
The Bobcats are coming off a successful 2023-24 campaign that saw Ohio place third at MACs and saw freshman
Zita Szoke become the first Bobcat since 2014 to qualify for the NCAA Championships.
