
Ohio Women's Track & Field Concludes First Day of Raleigh Relays

RALEIGH, N.C. – The Ohio women's track and field team competed in two field events, concluding the first day of the Raleigh Relays on Thursday, March 28.
Ohio started off the day with the women's shot put. Junior Millie Ryan (Vincent, Ohio) led the Bobcats with a mark of 12.38 meters (40-7.5). Senior Jordan Baith (Seville, Ohio) threw a distance of 11.64 meters (38-2.25) and junior Jasmine Correa finished (Holland, Mich.) with a mark of 11.62 meters (38-1.50).
In the women's javelin, graduate student Kassidy Betzing (Pomeroy, Ohio) and freshman Saydee Resnik (Greensburg, Pa.) finished in 26th and 27th place, respectively. Betzing recorded a mark of 34.58 meters (113-5) and Resnik earned a personal-best mark of 34.36 meters (112-9).
The Bobcats will be back in action at the Raleigh Relays on Friday, March 29.
