CLEVELAND – The Ohio football program's graduate student quarterback
Parker Navarro earned Mid-American Conference Co-Offensive Player of the Week accolades for his performance against the Ball State Cardinals (Nov. 29). He shares the title with Miami (Ohio) quarterback, Brett Gabbert, and has earned conference accolades four times this season.
Navarro (Tempe, Ariz.) led the Bobcats in their dominant 42-21 victory over the Cardinals Friday (Nov. 29). The graduate student finished the day with 169 passing yards, going 7-for-11 with three touchdowns in the air. Additionally, Navarro was the team's leading rusher, recording two touchdowns on 11 touches and 110 yards on the ground.
Ohio will return to the field on Saturday, Dec. 7 to take on Miami (Ohio) in the MAC Championship game. Kickoff is set for noon at Ford Field in Detroit, Mich. View the 2024 Championship Central
