BLOOMSBURG, Pa. - The Ohio wrestling team (2-2) returned to action Wednesday evening (Dec. 18) for the first MAC dual against Bloomsburg in Bloomsburg, Pa. where the Bobcats dominated the Huskies with a shutout, 45-0.

Redshirt senior TJ England (South Hampton, Pa.) put Ohio on the board first, showcasing his prowess by dominating Major Lewis with a 13-2 major decision in the 133-pound class. Riding the wave of momentum, redshirt freshman Kaden Jett (Broadview Heights, Ohio) followed suit in the 141-pound class, clinching an 8-2 decision against Ashton Campbell to further bolster Ohio's score.

The Bobcats impressed with their depth of talent, highlighted by redshirt sophomore Derek Raike (Point Pleasant, W.Va.), who executed against Nikolas Antonelli, notching an forceful 18-2 technical fall in the 149-pound class. Redshirt sophomore Jack Lledo (Penn Valley, Pa.) joined the ranks of standout performers, as he overwhelmed Leo Hess in the 165-pound class, securing a 12-4 major decision.

Redshirt junior, Garrett Thompson (Murrysville, Pa.) continued to establish his dominance on the mat, defeating Nik Voros in the 174-pound class with a swift fall in the first period at 1:51. Concluding a remarkable showcase of skill, redshirt senior Jordan Greer (Avon, Ohio) delivered a impressive performance in the heavy weight class, pinning Tyler McCatham in under a minute, sealing the deal with a fall at 0:42 of the first period.
