CLEVELAND – The Ohio football program's graduate student wide receiver Eamonn Dennis earned Mid-American Conference Co-Special Teams Player of the Week for his performance against the Kent State Golden Flashes. He shares the title with Northern Illinois' wide receiver Cam Thomson.

Dennis (Worcester, Mass.) made a splash on the special teams unit during Ohio's shutout victory on Wednesday (Nov. 6). The wide receiver opened the third quarter with a 96-yard kickoff return, marking the first Bobcat to score a touchdown off a kickoff return since 2022 as well as his first touchdown for OU. After a successful PAT, Dennis' touchdown extended Ohio's lead to 27 points.

The Bobcats will continue midweek MAC play on Wednesday, Nov. 13 when they host the Eastern Michigan Eagles. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. and can be seen on ESPN2.
