CLEVELAND – The Ohio football program's graduate student quarterback
Parker Navarro earned Mid-American Conference Co-Offensive Player of the Week accolades for his performance against the Toledo Rockets (Nov. 20). He shares the title with Bowling Green's junior wide receiver, Rahkeem Smith.
Navarro has earned conference accolades three times this season, sharing the title twice with a Bowling Green Falcon twice.
After a slow start first half Wednesday evening, Navarro (Tempe Ariz.) led Ohio's offense to a 24-point second half, ultimately defeating Toledo, 24-7. The graduate student was responsible for half of those points, recording two of the three rushing touchdowns on the evening. On the day, he finished with 104 rushing yards on 18 touches. In the air, Navarro went 11-for-19 on 129 yards.
The Bobcats return to Frank Solich Field at Peden Stadium for their last regular-season game of 2024 on Friday, Nov. 29 when they host the Ball State Cardinals. Kickoff is set for noon and can be seen on CBSSN.
