CLEVELAND – The Mid-American Conference has released its 2023-24 men's basketball conference schedule, the league announced today (Aug. 23). This year's conference schedule includes 18 in-league matchups with nine on the road and nine set to be played in the Convocation Center.

nonconference schedule was announced earlier this month, while game times and TV selections will be released at a later date.
"This schedule is a challenging mix of home, away and neutral games, many of them return games from last season," head coach
Jeff Boals said. "We have 15 home games this year and I encourage our fans to come out and support this team. We are adding three recruits to many returners from last year's team - they will be fun to watch."
The Bobcats kick off the MAC slate with back-to-back games in Athens starting Tuesday, Jan. 2 when Ohio hosts Toledo inside the Convo. Ohio is back in action that Saturday, Jan. 6 when Northern Illinois comes to the Convo.
Back-to-back road games are next for the Bobcats starting Tuesday, Jan. 9 when the Bobcats head to Bowling Green, Ohio to take on the Falcons, before heading to Kalamazoo, Mich. on Saturday, Jan. 13 to take on Western Michigan.
The Bobcats are back in Athens on Tuesday, Jan. 16 when Central Michigan comes to Athens for a mid-week matchup in Athens. Then on Saturday, Jan. 20, Eastern Michigan makes their way to Athens for a MAC battle with the Eagles inside the Convocation Center. The game with EMU will be a doubleheader day for both the men's and women's teams.
The Bobcats are back on the road three days when they head to Akron to take on the Zips on Tuesday, Jan. 23, before closing out the road trip on Saturday, Jan. 27 when they take on defending MAC Champion Kent State on the road.
Ohio returns to Athens on Tuesday, Jan. 30 when Buffalo comes to the Convocation Center. Ohio then welcomes Miami on Saturday, Feb. 3 for the first 'Battle of the Bricks' in Athens. Ohio is back on the road on Tuesday, Feb. 6 when the Bobcats head to Muncie, Ind. to take on Ball State.
After the second part of the MAC-SBC Challenge on Saturday, Feb. 10, the Bobcats have a seven-day break before returning to action on Saturday, Feb. 17 when the Bobcats head to Toledo, Ohio to take on the Rockets for their second matchup of the season.
Ohio is back in the Convo on Tuesday, Feb. 20 when the Bobcats play host to Kent State, before returning to the road on Saturday, Feb. 24 to take on NIU in DeKalb, Ill.
The Bobcats close out the home portion of the schedule with back-to-back home games starting on Tuesday, Feb. 27 when Akron comes to town. Ohio closes out the home slate on Saturday, March 2 when the Bobcats host Bowling Green inside the Convocation Center. March 2 with also serve as a men's and women's basketball doubleheader day.
The last regular season road trip begins on Tuesday, March 5 at Buffalo, before the season concludes on Friday, March at on the road at Miami for the 'Battle of the Bricks' part two.
The 2024 MAC Tournament will take place March 14-16 at Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse in Cleveland, Ohio.
"The Convo has been a great home court advantage for us and our electric atmosphere has been an important factor for recruiting," Boals said "The last three years we have won 37 home games. I am very excited about our team and look forward to the journey of this season."
