Individually, redshirt sophomore Nick Dolan (Pittsburgh, Pa.) went 1-for-3 with a home run and two RBIs while junior Alec Patino (Sioux City, Iowa) finished the day 2-for-5 with a double, a home run and two RBIs and two runs scored. Patino rounded out the scoring, crossing home when fifth year Will Sturek (Minnetonka, Minn.) doubled, giving Ohio a 4-0 lead.
Olson continued to dominate, giving up only one hit in the next four innings. Ohio extended their lead in the seventh when sixth year Trevor Lukkes (Tustin, Calif.) took advantage of a wild pitch, putting the score at 5-0 heading into the bottom of the inning.
