
Ohio Wrestling Falls on the Road at Navy

JEFFERSON, Pa. — The Ohio wrestling team (2-1) suffered its first loss of the season today (Dec. 10) on the road against Navy (5-0). Navy won with a 27-12 score, winning six of the ten matches.Â
The Bobcats were led by strong efforts from freshman Dominic Hoffarth (Waynesburg, Ohio), redshirt sophomore Peyten Kellar (Cutler, Ohio), junior Sal Perrine (Northfield, Ohio), and junior Zayne Lehman (Akron, Ohio). Â
Perrine and Lehman won against ranked opponents. The 21st-ranked Perrine defeated the 20th-ranked Danny Wask in a tight 4-3 decision. Lehman, the 28th-ranked wrestler at 184, won by against the 19th-ranked David Key in an 8-5 decision.Â
